Sing Your Heart Out

My parents think I can sing, so they were encouraging to me when I joined the Glee Club this year. In this club, they train us on how to sing with a group. They don’t care if you haven’t sung before or don’t sing well, as long as you put your effort into it. I believe that was why they took out auditions this year, so that more students can join, and more students did. There was a significant increase from last year’s participants.

We hold practices every Wednesday and Friday either from 4-5 or 4-6. Before we sing songs, we have warm-ups to train our voices. After that, they give us a piece in which we have to sing as a group. We are performing this Appreciation Day with the piece “Ain’t no Mountain High Enough”. Soon, we are planning to have a joint concert with the ICA choir and from other schools.

I hope that more and more people join the club and though I don’t think we will join contests and such, we can work hard to make our voices heard. Sing our hearts out.
